This ½ day, fun-filled workshop is for individuals ages 8 & up. This clinic is designed to help singers learn correct techniques that will last them a life time. Singers will learn breathing, timing, how to hit high notes, how to pick good songs for their voices, vocal health tips, and much more. This is a wonderful opportunity for vocalists to interact with other singers in a positive setting. Please bring guitar and/or tracks and 2 copies of lyrics.

These sessions focus on career guidance and music business education. Sessions can be designed specifically for your needs, but some common topics include: Understanding Performing Rights Organizations, Understanding Publishing, Understanding Copyrights, Tour Support, and Radio Promotion. The focus on the piano lessons is to help the student navigate the practical aspects of live performance by teaching them to find chords/melody/harmony by ear, transposing a song on the fly using the number system, finding the right key for the vocalist, understanding band dynamics, stage presence, practical improvisation skills at any level, and teaching them to play to their strengths using appropriate song selection.

Creative Drama Camp - Civic Center - 4th- 8th grades 5days/10hours $250 - Students will
engage in classical and traditional theatre games played around the world while enhancing their
imagination and creativity. They will learn the basic elements of theatre and learn basic techniques and
fundamentals of improvisation. They will read and perform short monologues and plays and create
simple props and costumes that depict setting and help character development. During the last hour on
Friday, the students will perform. ( Min. 8-10 students)

STAGE PERFORMANCE- CIVIC CENTER Private session $50/hour.
Focused on stage presence, connecting/reading your audience, "acting" a song, transitions. Students can
bring one song or several to work through.
ACTING FOR THE CAMERA - CIVIC CENTER Private sessions, $50/hour, and/or Group $35/2 hours
Focused on acting for television and film. Will cover audition technique, cold reading, slate, and the
nuance of camera work vs. stage. Will tape "auditions" and email them to students after session.
Focused on managing yourself as an actor/performer. Covers professional resume writing, what is
considered "proper" head shots, and how to create an acting reel. Plus any and all other details
necessary to know about the industry, including which websites they should utilize and other marketing
Ages: 4 years and up
Students may bring a song to work on or a song will be provided. The student will learn a short
monologue that will lead into a song. If a student only wants vocals or acting, the class will be $35/ 1/2Hr.

Cost: Group per person $35 for 1&1/2 hours and $50 for 1 hour private
Cold read: You are given a script, and you will learn how to find your character in minutes. Most auditions are cold
readings, so an actor needs to learn how to figure out their character and know what the scene is about quickly to book a part.
This class teaches you to know who, what, when, where, and why of the scene in minutes, so you can quickly audition and get
the part for any audition.
Monologues – The class teaches you how to pick the perfect monologue for you and how to deliver it the best way to get the part. You
may provide your own monologue.
Scene Work – By using scenes from film, television, and plays an actor learns how to act and react to other actors. Learn how to fully
develop any character within a scene and how to honestly act with other actors.
Commercial On- Camera – The class teaches you how to audition for commercials.
Stage Performance – Singing on stage can be so intimidating. This class teaches you how to act while singing. A song is like a
monologue and requires the same amount of acting. You will learn how to connect to your audience with every song you sing.
Communications - The student will been given techniques for interviewing for newspapers, radio, television, and booking shows
The Art of Being an Artist - It will help the singers learn how to brand themselves and find who they are as an artist.
Songwriting - The students will learn the craft of songwriting.
The group classes will be set up by the following age groups:

Preteen – Ages 9- 12 years
Teens – Ages 13-17
Adults – Ages 18 and up
